Calling all first and second graders in need of preparation for the sacrament of First Holy Communion and Reconciliation! Join us for our 2-year program as we navigate the basics of our Catholic faith and take a deep dive into the Eucharist and the sacrament of Reconciliation. We will be using Ascension Press’ workbooks Renewed and Received for the class, as well as additional handouts of prayers, liturgical year suggestions, and topics of conversation at home.
The class will meet in the rectory twice a month on Wednesday afternoons from 3:15 to 4:15 pm at Holy Family Church, beginning October 8th. The program will run until May 13th. Any students participating who are not parishioners of St. Josephs or Holy Family must obtain permission from their pastor to attend, as per canon law. The cost of the class is $40.
