UTICA, N.Y. — High School cross country runners from all over Central New York converged on Proctor Park in Utica for the EJ Herrmann Invitational on Saturday morning.

Included among the participants were runners from Central Valley Academy, Dolgeville, Herkimer, Little Falls, and West Canada Valley. In the boys’ team category, Central Valley Academy finished in 11th among those schools, followed by Herkimer (20th), Dolgeville (23rd), and West Canada Valley (24th). In the girls’ team standings, West Canada Valley finished in 14th and Dolgeville placed in 16th.

Both the boys and girls ran a 5K race.
