Charlie retired from Teal’s Express as a truck driver 25 years ago however, his love for the open road and diner food was well known. His good-natured personality and loving spirit are what drew you to him. He was forever giving to those around him without question and never expected anything in return. Charlie will be forever missed by his family and the abundance of people whose lives he touched.
Charlie is survived by his special friend, Jean Jacopelle of Herkimer; his children, Joyce Childers of Idaho; Larry (Helen) Lynch of Herkimer; Roger Lynch of North Pole, AK; Bob (Cheryl) Lynch of Fairfield; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Veronica and Jet Lynch of North Pole, AK; Dakota, Christine, Alexa, Colton and River of Little Falls; Colby, Mariah, Declan and soon to be granddaughter, Grace of Fairfield, Tracy Rowlands, Sara and Rhiannon Rhodes of Herkimer, Denise, Colleen, Tiara and Emma Fox of Remsen; siblings, Eileen (Bill) Foster of Dolgeville; Florene Stewart of Dolgeville; Larry (Karen) Lynch of Cold Brook; Helen Rachon of Dolgeville; Deb Russell of Idaho; Wes (Kim) Lynch of Fairfield; Theresa Baumes of Fairfield and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his longtime companion Theresa Taylor, his parents Thomas and Alice Lynch; siblings – Lois Rose, Arthur (Bud) Lynch; Louise Crowell; James A. Lynch; William Lynch and granddaughter Sara Rowlands.
