The Class of 2025 officers are planning a Fall Craft Fair to raise money. They’re looking for vendors who would like to rent a booth for the event that will be held on November 4, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Lucy Johns, one of the class officers, stated, “We have a bunch of different vendors already coming to sell their stuff. A lot of things that they bring in are really cool. I think it’s a great way to bring them together and get people to buy interesting things.”

So far, they have twenty vendors signed up, but they want to get to almost sixty, so they need to attract many more crafters.

A food truck vendor will serve Tex-Mex food that day instead of the parents trying to cook. However, the class will be responsible for the bake sale.

Alexis Kress said, “It’s a good money-maker for our class, and classes who have done this in previous years have been very successful, so we wanted to take it over.”

Makaylah Mowers explained, “It’s a good way to showcase local crafters and to have local businesses interact with our class and get additional publicity about what they do. They can explain what they make and how they do it.”

Julia Frasier stated, “The food truck is different this year, and we will offer free coffee, hot chocolate, and maybe donuts in the morning for the vendors. It’s great to be involved in because it helps both groups – the students and the businesses.”

“It’s a good way to volunteer and help out,” stated Kress.

It’s the perfect time of year to jump-start your holiday shopping and support local businesses. All of the money raised will go towards the junior class.
