On Wednesday evening, July 17, the Rotary Club of Little Falls met at the Elk’s Lodge for their weekly meeting. The meeting was presided over by their newly minted President, Rick Morgan.
Members were treated to a special evening as the presenter was a well-known Little Falls native and exceptional artist, Bob Willman. Bob studied Fine Art at Herk County Community College and the Munson-Williams/Proctor Institute School of Art. Mr. Willman currently maintains a working studio and gallery at his 19th-century farmhouse nestled in the scenic countryside of upstate New York.
His paintings have been widely exhibited in juried national and regional shows, and his work has received numerous awards. It is included in permanent collections across the United States, England, and Canada—in museums, universities, corporations, and private collections—and many of our living rooms.
Mr. Willman displayed his sketchbook and a few of his finished works of art.
Mr. Willman then opened his watercolor palette, grabbed a brush, and began to bring a blank canvas to life.
