Town Supervisors from around the County held their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday night in German Flatts. They invited county legislators, mayors, and clerks to join them for a BBQ dinner as well.
Dan Casler, Town Supervisor for the Town of Little Falls, led the group and said, “I’m pleased that we had a good turnout here. Through the years, I’ve tried to extend our exposure not just to our own town supervisors but also to our clerks and show them our appreciation, as well as highway superintendents.”
“With the shared services discussions, we’re trying to build on that and reach out to our municipal mayors as well,” he stated.
During the Herkimer County Town Supervisors Association meeting, they also discussed the homeless issue and squatting, previous shared services initiatives, and the Herkimer County Land Bank.
